Terms of Service

1. The Service

Gorilyft is a marketplace that connects brands, mainly software and app companies, with Instagram content creators. Brands describe their campaigns, find creators (including with AI-assisted search based on public Instagram data), invite them and book paid posts. Creators receive invitations and booking offers, discuss them with brands, publish the agreed content on their own Instagram account and are paid through Gorilyft.

Gorilyft provides the tools to find each other, agree on bookings, exchange messages, hold and release payments and issue the related invoices. Gorilyft does not create the content and does not sell the brands’ products or services.

2. Accounts

Most features require an account, either as a creator or as a brand. You must be of legal age and able to enter into contracts, and you use Gorilyft for professional purposes: brands on behalf of their company, creators in their activity as content creators.

You can sign in with a password, a one-time code or link sent by e-mail, or your Google account. Keep your sign-in methods secure: you are responsible for the activity on your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us promptly at contact@gorilyft.com.

The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date, in particular your identity, your Instagram account, your audience and your billing details.

3. Instagram accounts and identity proof

Creators may only add Instagram accounts that they own or control. When you add an Instagram username, we retrieve that account’s public data through a third-party data provider. Adding a username does not prove that the account is yours.

Ownership is proven automatically when the account is a professional Instagram account whose public contact e-mail is the verified e-mail of your Gorilyft account. Otherwise, you like a Gorilyft Instagram post from the account and we check the post’s likes (you can remove the like afterwards). A proven Instagram account is linked to one Gorilyft account; moving it to another Gorilyft account goes through our support.

Until ownership is proven, some features are limited: you can talk with a brand and see the brief of an invitation you confirmed, but you cannot accept a paid booking, receive payouts for that account, earn view-based rewards or get the verified badge.

If you cannot prove ownership this way, the brand that invited you may confirm, for that invitation only, that it verified your identity in Instagram direct messages. The brand is responsible for that confirmation. It does not give you a verified badge, and view bonuses cannot be measured in that case.

Claiming an Instagram account that is not yours, or misrepresenting your audience (for example with bought followers or views), is prohibited and may lead to the suspension of your account.

4. Invitations

A brand can invite a creator by sending, from its own Instagram account, a message containing a personal Gorilyft link. The brand is responsible for the messages it sends and for complying with Instagram’s rules. The invitation page shows the brand, the campaign, the offer, a preview of the brief and the public identity card of the invited Instagram account.

Only the owner of the invited account should confirm an invitation. If you received a link for an account that is not yours, choose “This isn’t my Instagram account”: the brand will be told.

An invitation is not a booking: nothing is paid or committed until the brand sends a booking offer and the creator accepts it. An invitation link is valid for the period shown on it (30 days); the brand can renew or withdraw it.

5. Bookings

A booking is an offer from a brand to a creator for one or more posts, with a price, a brief, a format and a deadline. It becomes binding on both of them when the creator accepts it.

• When the creator accepts, the booking price is reserved on the brand’s Gorilyft balance (“held”) until the booking is completed, cancelled or expires.
• The creator publishes the content on their Instagram account in line with the brief and before the deadline, then submits the link to the post in Gorilyft.
• The booking is completed once the post has been checked by Gorilyft or validated by the brand, or when the review period shown in the booking ends. The creator’s net amount is then credited to the creator’s Gorilyft balance. If you are the brand and believe the post does not meet the booking, contact us before the review period ends.
• If the post is not delivered by the deadline (plus a short grace period), the booking expires: the held amount returns to the brand’s available balance and the missed booking is recorded on the creator’s account.
• A brand can withdraw an offer before it is accepted. It can also cancel an accepted booking: the amount held for posts not yet delivered returns to the brand’s available balance, and posts already delivered remain payable to the creator.
• An offer may include a bonus per 1,000 views, up to a cap. The bonus is calculated on views verified by Gorilyft, is not part of the amount held at booking and is settled separately, as described in the offer. It cannot be measured when the creator’s identity was confirmed only by the brand.

6. Prices, fees and brand payments

Brands fund a prepaid Gorilyft balance by card; card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Top-ups are credited to the balance and used for bookings.

The price a brand pays for a booking is the creator’s net fee plus Gorilyft’s service fee, currently 20% of the creator’s net fee. The price shown to the brand before it confirms includes this fee; creators see their net amount.

If a brand deletes its account while an available balance remains, that balance is forfeited; the deletion screen asks for an explicit confirmation. Contact us before deleting your account if you have a question about your balance.

7. Creator earnings and payouts

Your earnings are the net amounts of your completed bookings and any bonus or reward credited to your Gorilyft balance.

You can request a bank transfer once your available balance reaches the minimum shown in your wallet and your billing details are complete. The Gorilyft team reviews each request, usually within 3 business days.

By accepting the self-billing mandate in your wallet, you authorise Gorilyft to issue invoices in your name and on your behalf for your earnings on the platform. You must keep your billing details (including your VAT status) accurate, and you remain responsible for declaring and paying any tax and social contributions due on your earnings.

We may hold a payout while we check information that looks incorrect or suspicious, or where the law requires it. If you delete your account while a balance remains, that balance is forfeited after your explicit confirmation.

8. Content and rights

Creators keep ownership of the content they create — drafts, posts, photos and videos. Brands keep ownership of their brands, logos, products and briefs.

You grant Gorilyft a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display the content you submit through the Service, only to operate the Service — for example to show a draft to the brand, or a post and its statistics in the campaign — and for as long as that purpose requires.

Unless the brand and the creator agree otherwise in writing in their Gorilyft conversation, the brand may view the drafts shared with it, share and link to the published post using Instagram’s own features while crediting the creator, and use the post and its statistics in its internal reports. Any other use — for example paid advertising, whitelisting, publication on other channels or editing — requires the creator’s separate agreement.

The brand allows the creator to use its name, logo and brief materials only to carry out the booking.

Each of you is responsible for the content you provide: you must hold the necessary rights (music, images, people appearing in the content, trademarks) and comply with the law, Instagram’s rules and advertising rules. Creators must clearly disclose sponsored content, for example with Instagram’s paid partnership label and, where French law applies, the mention “Publicité” or “Collaboration commerciale”. Brands must not ask creators to promote products or services whose promotion is prohibited or restricted by law.

9. Messages and acceptable use

Keep the collaborations you start on Gorilyft on Gorilyft: do not use the Service to exchange contact details or to arrange payment outside Gorilyft for them. Messages may be checked automatically, and a message containing contact details, external links or an attempt to move payment off the platform may be blocked.

You agree not to use Gorilyft to:

• break the law or infringe the intellectual property, image or privacy rights of others;
• impersonate someone, claim an account that is not yours or inflate your audience or engagement;
• send spam, harass other users or share content that is fraudulent, hateful or harmful;
• collect data from the Service by automated means, or access another user’s account or data without permission;
• interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

We may remove content or restrict features when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. To report content or behaviour, write to contact@gorilyft.com.

10. AI-powered features

Gorilyft uses artificial intelligence, including Google’s Gemini models, to analyse brand websites and briefs, draft campaign briefs and assess how relevant public creator profiles are to a brief. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before you rely on them. A creator suggestion does not guarantee that creator’s availability, audience or results.

11. Ranking and eligibility

Creators appear in the brand marketplace once they have set a price, have a proven Instagram audience of at least 1,000 followers and are located in a country we support. The marketplace is ordered mainly by proven audience size, with a boost for verified creators.

Creators suggested for a campaign are ordered by their relevance to the brief, assessed automatically (including with AI) from public profile data and the brand’s own feedback. The opportunities shown to creators are published campaigns with a funded budget and the invitations they have received. No one can pay Gorilyft for a better position.

12. Rewards programme

Gorilyft may run a rewards programme for creators (points, levels, leaderboard rewards). Its rules are shown in the app. We may change or end it for the future, and we cancel rewards obtained through fake views or any other manipulation.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Gorilyft at any time and delete your account from your account page once the bookings and money in progress are settled (see our data deletion page).

We may restrict, suspend or terminate an account, or hold a payout, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, commit fraud or put users or the Service at risk, or where the law requires it. We will tell you the reasons, and you can contest the decision by contacting us. Except for serious or repeated breaches or a legal obligation, we give at least 30 days’ notice before terminating a professional user’s account.

14. Complaints

For any complaint about the Service, about a decision we took on your account or about another user, write to contact@gorilyft.com. We will look into it and answer as quickly as possible.

15. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that Gorilyft will always be available without interruption or error. We may modify, add or remove features as the Service evolves.

16. Liability

Gorilyft is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for the content creators publish, for the brands’ products and services, or for Instagram’s availability or its decisions about your Instagram account. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gorilyft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date and, for material changes, notify account holders at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
